Pleasure
Beach is open from mid February to early December.
New for 2009:
A
world of experiences
Big developments have been taking place at Pleasure Beach, Blackpool
throughout the 2009 closed season. £4m has been invested
in a new state of the art Ticket Centre, two new eating establishments,
a new Education Academy and a Spectacular Dancing Water Show,
all to ensure that Pleasure Beach looks amazing for the 2009 season.
From the start of the 2009 season there are now 2 new ways to
enjoy Pleasure Beach. Visitors can choose to purchase either an
unlimited ride wristband or a £5 Pleasure Beach Pass. The
Pleasure Beach Pass allows guests to enjoy the ambience, ride
the Pleasure Beach Express, explore the Chinese Puzzle Maze, see
the South Beach Show and be amazed at the Spectacular Dancing
Water Show.
Ticket Centre and Entrance
New for 2009 is the brand new Ticket Centre. This is the first
point of arrival for visitors and is situated on the ground floor
of the Casino Building. It retains the feel and ambiance of the
Casino Building’s art décor stylings but combines
them with a state of the art ticket sales system, which will provide
guests with the very best in customer service. The new centre
has 24 terminals which means guests can quickly and efficiently
purchase wristbands and passes. Pleasure Beach Ambassadors will
be on hand to greet visitors, answer any queries and give advice,
also, staff at our new dedicated information desk will be available
to assist customers. Pleasure Beach also has a brand new Group
Arrivals area that will allow larger parties to get their wristbands
and begin to enjoy Pleasure Beach with much more speed and efficiency.
Guests will then make their way from the new Ticket Centre to
the main entrance beneath Noah’s Ark where Access Ambassadors
will guide guests through airport style security scanners and
turnstyles and onto the park.
Spectacular Dancing Water Show
Situated just in front of the new Bean Street FY4 restaurant,
the Spectacular Dancing Water Show is a thrilling visual treat,
which will appeal to all ages. Set to beautiful, varied music
including classical, rock, pop and even rugby themes, why not
take some time out of your day to enjoy this stunning show. Be
amazed as the jets of water reach as high as the famous Pepsi
Max Big One. Once darkness falls, prepare to be thrilled as the
fountains are illuminated and special night shows will take place.
Designed by Aquatique Show International, who have also designed
stunning water features for the likes of Disneyland USA, Sea World
USA and Puy du Fou in France.
The Grill
The Grill is a fabulous new brasserie style restaurant opening
in the newly designed Casino Building. Situated on the ground
floor, opposite Pleasure Beach’s Adventure Golf course,
this restaurant will be open at selected times from 8.00am to
10.00pm serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The
menu may be found at www.thegrillpleasurebeach.com. This unique
brasserie offers views along the promenade and al fresco dining.
The Grill will serve all your favourite foods, from perfectly
cooked steaks to gourmet fish and chips. The Grill will open Spring
2009.
Bean Street FY4
This brand new relaxed dining experience is situated next to the
Spectacular Dancing Water Show so that diners can enjoy delicious
food whilst watching the stunning show. Bean Street FY4 serves
everything from gourmet burgers to jacket potatoes, salads to
shakes and orange juice to cappuccinos. It’s the new eating
place which just bristles with character. The perfect place to
take time out, relax and enjoy the very best of what Pleasure
